Like, for real, off all the tracks we could possibly feature on this channel, I truly didn’t expect to ever see Tombstone. And yet, here we go: This artefact from 2013 gets to shine once more thanks to Risen’s brilliant instrumental flip.

Though technically a throwback in and of itself, as the Risen brand is no longer active, the signature mix clarity ensures that this remix doesn’t feel dated at all. An experienced listener might look for Risen’s shimmering arps, and sure enough, they will be greeted by a variety of them. Though the track indulges in a contemplative tone at first, it gives tribute to the original by bringing back the main riff in its full triumphant glory for the second drop.
